چکیده

Organic fertilizers have been used in agriculture to improve soil fertility, promote plant growth and protection which improves crop productivity. A field experiment was conducted order study the effect of organic (compost its water extract) on yield barley production. The results achieved showed that either compost (T3) or dual application with extract (T4) as biofertilizers increased most parameters including straw well biological yield, number grains per spike grain income. With respect photosynthesizing pigments, T3 T4 chlorophyll a, b, total carotenoid content compared control plants (T1). Nutrient uptake plant, but not grain, also under treatment. This suggests a promoting growth, development productivity, nutrient content. Overall findings indicate effectiveness significantly improving performances farming system. indicates could be fertilizer for cultivation condition. Real-time PCR analysis differential expression 24 candidate genes such NRT1, NRT2, AMT PHT involved N P metabolism leaves roots. these may play various functions uptake, transport, reduction, assimilation translocation nitrate, ammonium phosphorus vegetative organs.

Lysine Catabolism in Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.).

Lysine catabolism in seedlings of barley (Hordeum vulgare L. var. Emir) was studied by direct injection of the following tracers into the endosperm of the seedlings: aspartic acid-3-(14)C, 2-aminoadipic acid-1-(14)C, saccharopine-(14)C, 2,6-diaminopimelic acid-1-(7)-(14)C, and lysine-1-(14)C. Labeled saccharopine was formed only after the administration of either labeled 2,6-diaminopimelic acid...

Allelopathic Plants. 19. Barley (Hordeum vulgare L)

Barley is integrated with other crops to inhibit weed growth, through allelopathic interactions. Effects of barley on growth of other crops, weeds and autotoxicity among cultivars result primarily from allelopathy mediated by allelochemicals released from plant components and/or exuded from living roots. A limited number of allelochemicals are identified that contributes to allelopathic effecti...

Characterization of promoter expression patterns derived from the Pht1 phosphate transporter genes of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.).

By comparison with dicot plant species, relatively little work has been reported on the phosphate transporter (Pht1) gene family from monocot species. Initial studies have shown that barley contains at least eight homologous genes. The promoters of six of these genes were analysed for the presence of regulatory elements potentially associated with expression specificity. In particular, the P1BS...

Soil inoculation with symbiotic microorganisms promotes plant growth and nutrient transporter genes expression in durum wheat

In a field experiment conducted in a Mediterranean area of inner Sicily, durum wheat was inoculated with plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), or with both to evaluate their effects on nutrient uptake, plant growth, and the expression of key transporter genes involved in nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) uptake. These biotic associations were studie...

Identification of a Phytase Gene in Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.)

BACKGROUND Endogenous phytase plays a crucial role in phytate degradation and is thus closely related to nutrient efficiency in barley products. The understanding of genetic information of phytase in barley can provide a useful tool for breeding new barley varieties with high phytase activity. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS Quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis for phytase activity was condu...
